Why Wineries Partner with Johnson Estate

For more than three generations, Johnson Estate Winery has partnered with wineries throughout the United States by supplying premium estate-grown wines and production services. Unlike many bulk suppliers, Johnson Estate controls every stage of production. From vineyard management through bottling ensuring exceptional consistency from vintage to vintage.

Located in the Lake Erie American Viticultural Area (AVA), our vineyards benefit from one of the longest growing seasons in the eastern United States. The moderating influence of Lake Erie allows fruit to develop exceptional flavor, balanced acidity, and varietal character while reducing seasonal extremes.

Our commitment to vineyard quality includes meticulous pruning, canopy management, crop monitoring, and drip irrigation across most vineyard blocks. Every decision is made with one objective in mind: producing premium-quality fruit for exceptional wines.

Today, Johnson Estate operates more than 160,000 gallons of temperature-controlled fermentation and storage capacity, allowing us to support wineries of every size with dependable production capabilities.

Our wines consistently receive recognition from prestigious competitions including the New York Wine Classic, Finger Lakes International Wine Competition, Los Angeles International Wine Competition, Tasting.com, Decanter, and the International Eastern Wine Competition, reflecting our commitment to quality across multiple wine styles and vintages.
