Join us in our historic tasting room year-round to explore our complete menu of 44 wines. Our portfolio includes European classics such as Pinot Noir, Riesling, and Chardonnay, as well as regional varietals including Concord, Catawba, and Niagara.
As New York’s oldest continuously operating estate winery, Johnson Estate has welcomed guests to experience the unique flavors of Lake Erie Wine Country for more than six decades. Our wines are crafted from estate-grown grapes and reflect the rich agricultural heritage of our family winery.

Johnson Estate is also proud to offer a curated selection of premium New York craft spirits. As a New York farm winery, we partner with distilleries across the state to bring you outstanding vodka, bourbon, whiskey, gin, fruit liqueurs, and more.

Savor award-winning wines and our signature made-to-order charcuterie boards at FLIGHT, one of the best outdoor wine venues in Western New York. Overlooking 112 acres of scenic estate vineyards, our venue hosts a variety of special events and seasonal celebrations throughout the year, including live music every Thursday night in July and August from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, and Trivia Night Saturdays from 6-8pm June – August. FLIGHT is open through September. It’s a relaxed place to enjoy a glass or flight of wine alongside shareable charcuterie boards.
Planning a group wine tasting at Johnson Estate Winery? Our Tasting Room welcomes groups looking to enjoy New York wine in the heart of Lake Erie Wine Country.
Reservations are not required for parties of 8 guests or fewer, but they are always welcome.
For groups of 9–20 guests, we ask that you make a reservation at least 14 days in advance. This allows our team to properly prepare for your visit, ensure appropriate staffing, and provide the best possible tasting experience for your group. Group wine tastings are $10 per person, with payment or deposit collected at the time of reservation.
While we will always do our best to accommodate group requests, reservations may be limited or unavailable during holidays, special events, peak weekends, and other especially busy times of the year. We encourage larger groups to plan ahead and contact us early when visiting our winery near Erie PA and Western New York.

Located in the heart of Lake Erie Wine Country, Johnson Estate Winery welcomes groups looking to enjoy a unique New York winery experience overlooking our vineyards. FLIGHT is our outdoor tasting venue where guests can relax with wine, food, and friends while taking in the beauty of our estate.
For groups of 10 or more guests visiting FLIGHT, we require advance reservations so our team can provide the best possible experience. Larger groups will be served wine by the glass or bottle rather than individual wine flights. This allows us to provide efficient service and ensure an enjoyable experience for all guests.
For FLIGHT group reservations, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking for wine purchases, and charcuterie boards must be prepaid in full. Deposits will be applied toward your final bill on the day of your visit. An automatic 15% gratuity will be added to the final bill for groups of 10 or more guests.
Reservations may be canceled with a full refund of deposits up to 48 hours before your scheduled visit. Cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows will forfeit the deposit.
Groups of 25 or more guests are considered private events and will be coordinated through our Events Team. These larger gatherings require additional planning, staffing, and customized arrangements. Yes! Johnson Estate Winery is a dog-friendly winery in Lake Erie Wine Country. Dogs are welcome at both our Tasting Room and FLIGHT, our outdoor tasting venue. We love welcoming guests who want to enjoy a glass of wine while spending time with their four-legged companions. Many of us grew up with dogs on the farm, and we know how much fun it is to include your furry friends in your adventures. To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, we ask that dogs remain on a leash at all times and owners clean up after their pets. If you need waste bags, just ask, we’re happy to provide them. We trust that your dog is friendly, comfortable around people and other dogs, and able to enjoy a social environment. Please keep your pet under control and be mindful of other guests during your visit. Because we welcome all visitors to enjoy their experience at Johnson Estate, if a guest has an allergy, fear, or other concern, we may ask that your furry friend spend some time outside while you continue your visit. Fresh water is available for your dog in both the Tasting Room and at FLIGHT, and you’re welcome to take a stroll together along the vineyard rows.
